The on-site restaurant serves fantastic meals, like chicken schnitzel and spicy shrimp and chorizo pasta, making it a good spot to grab a bite after a day of exploring.
The shared bathroom situation could use an upgrade, with only one shower and toilet available for all guests, which can definitely feel cramped. The kitchen also left something to be desired—tiny with limited equipment and often out of order appliances. During my stay, I found the water in the bathroom drained slowly due to a clogged pipe, which added to the inconveniences. And don't even get me started on the lack of a kettle in the room—sometimes you just want a quiet cuppa in the morning without the trek to the kitchen.

missingWrote a review on 27 Novlake viewsverandah accessbathroom shelves
The two-bedroom unit had unobstructed views of the lake with sliding doors opening onto a welcoming verandah, perfect for enjoying the breeze.
The motel unit, while charming, could benefit from more shelves in the bathroom for organization, and the shower head being fixed limits flexibility during use.

The room was tidy and had a mint view, but the bar noise was a bit much for a good night's sleep. Chur for the comfy beds!

Breathtaking views!
Staying here was awesome, especially waking up to those stunning lake views every morning. The restaurant was surprisingly good, with quick service and tons of options. Only downside? The place could get a bit noisy with all the guests milling about.

Recommend it for family with kids
The cleanliness has improved! Room had a recent facelift with new paint. It’s wonderful and cosy and the improvements are noticeable.
Wasn't exactly cheap, but considering the view and facilities, it felt acceptable.

I celebrated my 50th Wedding Anniversary with my partner, and the experience was memorable. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit with pleasant lake views. The sliding doors led to a verandah, making hot days more enjoyable. Everything was clean, and the staff provided a friendly welcome. I appreciated the extensive menu at the restaurant, especially the hearty options available.
The bathroom could use shelves, and the shower head is fixed to the wall, which limits flexibility.

Had a blast with my friends exploring the easy track by the Arnold River and then hitting the moderate walk to Carew Falls. The staff was super friendly, and the motel unit had great views of the lake right from our beds. It's got a cool vibe, resembling classic lodges, and you can dine at the hotel with a decent menu too.
The only downside was the water quality. unfortunately, it was muddy and not drinkable. They mentioned it had minerals, but it was more than that, which was a bit of a letdown.
